As per usual my sleep was average at best. Most of my fellow hikers already left by 6:20 a.m. when I slowly start to crawl out of my tent. And again it’s 8 a.m. by the time I start hiking. In average today’s segment is more or less all uphill (3500ft / 1060m) over 14.6 …

My night wasn’t great for several reasons. First there was a cat, that tried very consistently to convince it’s owner to open the door to their RV. But the owner didn’t listen and the cat didn’t stop meowing. Then there were air conditioning units switching on and off, traffic going by and (of course) snoring …
